"Heian Shrine at Night / Kotona Anai"
Hello, this is Anai.
When winter comes, I feel like going to see illuminations.
The other day, I went to the night light-up event "NAKED Garden of Light, Heian Shrine."
When we arrived at Heian Shrine, the sacred gate, Otenmon, was illuminated, and we were amazed at how bright it was.
I have visited Heian Shrine during the day, but it is beautiful in a different way at night.
When I entered the event, I saw Japanese umbrellas lined up in the temple grounds, all lit up with lights, and I couldn't help but take a picture. (It was a full moon that day.)
Upon Melody, I found out that it was a Japanese umbrella from Hiyoshiya, a long-established company that has been handed down for over 160 years.
In fact, SOU・SOU used to sell SOU・SOU x Hiyoshiya Japanese parasols. *They are no longer on sale.
As we went further in, we came across a beautiful world of light, sound and art that evoked a sense of harmony.
The vibrant colour of the freshly made Naginata Sleeve Haori also looked great in photos, even at night!
It will be held until Friday, January 13th, so if you have time, please go and check it out.
