"Tea Diary / Hiroko Chiba"

Hi, this is Chiba from Chiba.
Finally, I had my first experience.
It's pottery.

I decided to make a tea bowl for thick tea.
I was asked to choose from five colors.
I've never seen a yellow tea bowl before. It's a little strange. But I don't think anyone else has one, so I guess it's okay.
That's why I chose this color.

Then one day during a lesson we were going to have thick tea, so I brought it with me and got to work!

I made it a little larger so it was easy to make tea, and the bright yellow colour lifted my spirits, and combined with the fact that I made it myself, I was feeling excited as I made the tea.
I can't wait to enjoy associating it with different things for each season: Canola Flower in spring, Sunflower in summer, the moon viewing festival in autumn, yuzu in winter, and more!!
