“Nice to meet you/Fu Wen”

Greetings to all of you who are looking at each word and picture. My name is Fu Yuiman, and I joined the company in June.

I'm from Hong Kong and I'm 149 cm tall. My English name is always "Lara".

The first time I met SOU・SOU was in 2014, nine years ago.
One day when I was studying abroad at a Japanese language school in Kyoto, I was approached by a Taiwanese classmate who is now my best friend.
“Do you know a Kyoto brand called SOU・SOU?
I still vividly remember the joy I felt when we went to SOU・SOU Village together and were surrounded by so many cute Textile designs.

And when I tried on SOU・SOU clothes, I was short and always worried about the length and balance of the clothes.
After reading articles and books that introduce the concept of SOU・SOU, I thought it was a wonderful brand.

Since then, SOU・SOU products have become an indispensable part of our daily lives.

It's embarrassing, but I like to draw illustrations, so I was invited by a publisher to publish a book after I uploaded a sentence and illustrations about my study abroad life on my Facebook page. Among them, I arbitrarily introduced SOU・SOU.

When I introduced my book at a book fair in Hong Kong, I wore SOU.

Before studying abroad, I worked at a magazine company, but after returning to Hong Kong after studying abroad, I became a freelancer.
I received various projects such as translation and writing travel articles.
While thinking "I definitely want more people to know about SOU・SOU!"
I introduced SOU・SOU on a Hong Kong travel site and also interviewed producer Wakabayashi.


My hobbies include traveling to Japan, watching figure skating, sake, and visiting shrines.


In Corona, I can't go to my favorite Japan.
I received a request from an agency in Hong Kong and became the person in charge of Hong Kong's first SOU・SOU pop-up store. (Also next year's pop-up store)
While doing online MTG, I was so nervous that my stomach hurt every time, and I thought, "This is a dream job!"


Being able to work at my favorite SOU・SOU in my beloved Kyoto is like a dream come true.
I'm still not confident that I can contribute to SOU・SOU, so I can't say for sure.
I want to do my best to aim for "I want more people to know about SOU・SOU!"
