“Whimsical Handicraft Club ③ / Haruna Nishiyama”

Handmade work that always starts as procrastination. When I was tidying up my house, I found an organza fabric that would someday come true, so I decided to try making something with embroidery again.

Until now, I've made earrings to decorate my house, but this time I'm going to wear earrings.

The theme was, as expected, SOU・SOU Textile. The pattern was a spring design, so I chose the motif of "Urara." I was half worried and half excited that I would be able to achieve the image I had in mind.




Once you have decided on the pattern, all you have to do is pierce it. Prepare your embroidery Set! I heard that organdy is slippery, so I wrapped bias tape around the embroidery hoop.




Then work silently for about an hour. Finally, the three outline circles are lined up. Embroider the pattern inside to finish,

Up and Down look like Urara? Lol
It's full of handmade feeling, but I like the combination of silver thread with the sheerness. I still have a lot of fabric, so I'll try to make something again ☺︎
