One day story / Small talks from SOU · SOU Producer Takeshi Wakabayashi
"Road to SOU・SOU / Kyojunka"
The tea ceremony that was created when the Aoyama store was relocated and renewed.(* Currently temporarily closed)There is a Japanese sweet called "Kyojunka" that is served only at this tea ceremony.
It is a Japanese sweet made with seasonal ingredients in Kyoto so we named it.
A picture postcard "Monthly Picture (Tsukina Nemei)" instead of a traditional Japanese paperboard draws down 12 months of events, landscapes, shifts of the four seasons, and it is drawing up for this purpose. What a luxury.

To be honest, I had thought it would be great if we could collaborate with a Japanese sweets shop in Tokyo for the tea ceremony at the Aoyama store, but I didn't feel like we could replicate the process of making Japanese sweets in Tokyo for the "Textile designs turned into Japanese sweets" that we do in Kyoto.
That's why Yoshinaga Kameya Yoshinaga is asking for this Kyojunka. Since it is sent frozen from Kyoto, I think it will be delicious when thawed. It's only two small candy-sized sweets, but the time and effort it takes to do this is considerable.
I hope everyone can enjoy the Kyoto Shunka at the tea ceremony of the Aoyama store.
Currently closed temporarily. Please forgive me.

See you tomorrow!
