"I tried making Handkerchief furoshiki / Tsubaki Miki"

Make it an eco bag, put together bulky things,

I think that a thin furoshiki will come in handy.

In search of a thinner furoshiki, I tried making Handkerchief furoshiki this time!

I like this Japanese pattern for camellia.

If we calculate that Width of Fabric of Handkerchief fabric is 35cm and it will be a square,
You can make about 70 cm square by arranging two sheets, and about 105 cm square by arranging three sheets.

This time, I decided to arrange three sheets to make a large 105 cm square.
Let's go to how to make it!

① Cut the purchased fabric 320 cm into 3 equal parts.

Layering the edges of the fabric by about 2mm to 5mm and secure with pins.

③ Sew the overlapping parts of the ears straight together.

④ Fold the edge of the fabric in three and make a crease with an iron.

⑤ Sew the edges of the fabric to complete!

I am very happy with Luxurious furoshiki I made!!

Hand-printed furoshikiI compared the thickness when folded.

The thickness was about the same ...!
When comparing weight, the handmade Handkerchief furoshiki turned out to be about 30g lighter.
It's a lighter furoshiki rather than a lighter one, but that's a good feeling.

Due to the characteristics of Isemomen Cotton, wrinkles become less noticeable the more you wash it.
It will be soft and fluffy, so I'm looking forward to using it from now on.

I still love using the furoshiki that was previously sold and is made from two colored Layered-flowers Handkerchief glued together.
The fabric is thin, soft and not bulky, so I use it to wrap my clothes on business trips.
