“Tea ceremony culture test / Anna Kiwada”
Everyone, long time no see.
This is Kiwada from the cloth bag staff.
At the beginning of this yearDeclaredStreet,
The other day I have received the Tea Ceremony of Tea Ceremony, Level 2.
The story goes around, but when studying for the exam, studying on the desk alone won't come to mind!
I went to a place related to Chanoyu.
Here are some of them.
First of all, go to the Jotenkaku Museum of Art in Sengokuji, which has a deep connection with tea ceremony.
There was an exhibition focusing on the tea ceremony, and I couldn't help but see it.
"Ink marks" (handwriting of Zen Buddhist monks) hung in the tea room were displayed with explanations.
Since the test involves questions that ask the meaning of Zen, detailed explanations were greatly appreciated.
I was also excited to see many famous pieces, including the National Treasure Taihi Scattered Flowers Tenmoku Tea Bowl and Knit Koetsu's Akaraku Tea Bowl!
The test also shows who made it and what tool it was made in, so I was glad that I could see the real thing.
* Please refer here to see what kind of problems will be asked during the tea ceremony culture test.Fold the hem into third and sew (or roll the hem and sew)
By the way, this exhibition is held until December 22nd in the period I and from January 11th to March 29th in the period II.
If you are interested, please!
Next, I went to Daitokuji Temple, which boasts many tea rooms.
The towers I visited were Korinin and Houmeiin.
This is Korinin's outdoor area
This is the branch gate in the middle of the open space ...
The front is your population (entrances for guests with high status)
The stones under your population are stepping stones. Sekimori stones are on the stones.
The stones up to the entrance (small entrance on the right side of the photo) are stepping stones, falling rocks, stones ...
We visited while confirming pointing.
* Daitoku's special autumn viewing is held from late November to early December (the date varies depending on the tower).
Rather than staying studying indoors, I felt like I was actually looking at it.
And on the day of the exam.
I worked on it until just before the start of the test.
The test time is 80 minutes.
It was in no time ...
Although it is honest that the feel I received is not so good,
Was it that you learned a lot through studying for the exam? It was the best harvest that I noticed.
Whatever the results, I will try to study for the exam again next year!
