    SOU・SOU Kyoto Cushion are handcrafted one by one by craftsmen using traditional methods.
    By doing it by hand, the Kyozabuton is filled with cotton in every corner.

  • 21 Count Plain Weave

    21 Count Plain Weave

    Moderately thick plain weave fabric with a smooth touch.
    This cushion is also used in SOU・SOU Zaifu Cafe.

  • No.8 Canvas

    No.8 Canvas

    No. 8 canvas with a relatively rough texture and weave.
    It is durable and thick enough to be used for tents, shoes, bags, etc.

  • Cotton-linen Plain Weave

    Cotton-linen Plain Weave

    The softness of cotton and the crispness of linen are combined with a smooth texture. This fabric has good breathability and a rustic texture.

What is Kyozabuton?

Introducing two features

  • Three-sided binding with a "human" shaped thread

    Three-sided binding with a "human" shaped thread

    One side of these three marks indicates the front of the cushion, which is said to make it misunderstood and disappointing when you hand it out to the customer. It seems to be a cross-binding in the nationwide.

  • "Kamaboko type" that understands the top and bottom

    "Kamaboko type" that understands the top and bottom

    The back side is flat and the front side is raised in the center like a kamaboko. It seems that this means that by putting a lot of filling in the central part where the weight is applied, it is difficult to get tired.

FAQ

Is it possible to make a size other than "Small Size Cushion" or "Medium Size Cushion cushion"?

How should I wash it?

If you wash it in your washing machine at home, the cotton inside may move and the shape may become distorted.
We recommend sending it to a cleaning shop that specializes in washing futons.

Do you have a fix?

We are in the process of fixing it. We will add new cotton to the original cotton.
Prices vary depending on the condition of the cushion.

Can the cushion Outer Fabric be removed?

The cushion cannot be removed because Outer Fabric and the filling are fixed with a binding thread in the center.
