Established in 1864
Itoken
Founded in 1864, Itoken was established as a manufacturer of Kawara Senbei (tile-shaped rice crackers) on the approach to Inaba Yakushi temple, Kyoto. Later, it expanded the variety of confectionery, including sugar sweets, fresh, half baked or fully baked sweets, and continues to inherit Japanese traditional baking techniques which are being lost till today. With its office relocated to Fukakusama, Fushimi, it opened a new cafe which serves western confectionery such as cakes, cafe, sweets and lunch, in addition to its signature Japanese confectionery.
