“久しぶりに織ってます／西山 晴奈”

６畳の広いとは言えないうちの一角にはどかっと織り機がございます。


折角広島から持ってはきたものの、全く使っていませんでした。




ですが、久しぶりに何かつくろう！とリハビリを兼ねて、最近はちょっとずつ織るようにしており、

今はつづれ織りでタペストリーを作っています。




つづれ織りとは緯糸だけで、文様を表現する織り方です。

絵を描くように織るので、とても表現の幅は広いです。

また、京都では西陣織として古くから絹の着物帯や袱紗などが作られており、

伝統的な技法の一つでもあります。


織り方は足元の2本の踏み木を交互に踏むと、

経糸が浮いてくれるので、その隙間に緯糸を詰めていくだけです。　とってもシンプル！




ですが、経糸を張っている力の加減や緯糸を詰める加減が少しでも

おかしいと縦糸が見えてきたり、形が歪んできたりとなかなか綺麗に織れません。




織ったり、ほどいたり、３歩進んで２歩下がったりしながら作っています。




また、色の出方もおもしろいな～と感じるところで、

何本かの糸を撚り、一本にしてから織り込むとランダムに色が現れます。


遠目で見るのと、ぐっと近づいて見るのとでは見え方が全然違います。

そういう、色が混ざりきらず点描のような、細やかな表現が出来るところがとても好きです。





今はやっと８センチくらいまで織れました。下絵もなく、その時の気分でどんな感じにするか決めています。




上手にできたら、お部屋に飾るつもりです！

“クッション座椅子中材／西牧 知恵”

本日より長月に突入致しました。
これから迎える実りの季節が楽しみであります。


遡ること約2週間前、京都では8月16日に夏の風物詩である五山送り火が行われました。
この日はお休みをいただいておりましたので東山如意ケ嶽の大文字を見に行ってまいりました。
日が落ちて大の文字が暗闇に浮かび上がります。
写真ですと宙に浮いているように見えますね。。。


点火されてから火が消えるまで1時間にも満たないのですが
約5年ぶりに見た送り火は幻想的で感動致しました。


そしてこの日を境に暑さもゆるみ、秋を感じるようになってまいりました。
そろそろ衣服やインテリアなど衣替え・お手入れする時期でございます。


最近、店頭ではお客様より
使用しているクッション座椅子がへたってきたけどどうすればいいですか？
クッション座椅子の中材だけの販売はしていますか？
といった質問をよく頂戴致します。


そこで今回はクッション座椅子の中材についてご紹介したいと思います。

クッション座椅子中材は200g（1袋）／1,944円（税込）でご用意しており
SOU・SOUネットショップ、実店舗では京都のSOU・SOU染めおり、SOU・SOU KYOTO 青山店
にてお取り扱いがございます。



素材は発泡ポリエチレン・ポリスチレン、約5mmほどの小さな発泡ビーズです。



クッション座椅子は購入時、小は約500g（約2袋半）、大は約800g（約4袋）の中材が入っています。
写真はクッション座椅子大サイズですが、発泡ビーズは軽いためこの大きさでも片手で持ててしまいます。



そして、クッション座椅子には
“中材のビーズ直入れタイプ”と“カバー式の2重構造タイプ”の2種類ご用意があります。

カバー式の2重構造タイプは背面からカバーが取り外せる仕様になっているため



中袋のダブルジッパーを開けて中材を補充します。

続いて直入れタイプについてですが
開けた瞬間に中材が飛び出てしまうのでは、、、と心配される方もいらっしゃるかもしれません。

背面のジッパーを開けると、



新たにジッパーが出現。



直入れタイプも開けた瞬間に発泡ビーズが飛び出さないよう
ダブルジッパー仕様になっております。


補充の目安としましては、へたり具合によって変わりますのでまずは1袋からをおすすめしております。
補充する際には本体を持ち上げ、発泡ビーズをカップなどですくい徐々に補充していただくと入れやすいです。
※発泡ビーズは微風や静電気などで飛び散りやすいためご注意くださいませ。

京都の夏はお祭りが多いですね。
先輩や同期と祇園祭に行ったり、SOU・SOUスタッフみんなでみたらし祭りへ行ったり、

First of allIsemomen Cotton /Tokuoka(Northern Countries Kohabaori Eco Bag)

A high-quality fabric with high strength compared to other Handkerchief

Width of Fabric is almost the same as that of Isemomen Cotton Handkerchief, so just fold it as instructed and sew in a straight line.

If you proceed smoothly you can complete in about 15 minutes. As a subback, when not in use can fold and carry around.

Tie ahead and use it with possession.





Next ◆21 count Weave(Basking in the Sun) Kohabaori Eco Bag

Unlike Handkerchief cloth, Width of Fabric is 110cm, so the length and width are ignored.

Cut the vertical to the Width of Fabric and the horizontal to a longer length of 40 cm. (Since it is sold by measure every 10 cm
