人と車があふれ地下鉄や鉄道が
縦横無尽に走る東京
高層ビルが建ち並び
スカイツリーも出来て日々変化し
発展し続ける日本の首都
そんな東京で暮している中で
ふとした時に富士山が見える
オリンピックも決って
花のお江戸は
世界の東京として華かに
変身していくことだろう

Prosperous Edo (2013, by Katsuji Wakisaka)
Tokyo is overflowing with people and cars,
with subways and railways running in all directions.
With skyscapers packed together and Tokyo Skytree is being built,
the capital of Japan has continued to evolve and develop.
While living in such a place like Tokyo,
Mount Fuji can be seen when you least expect it.
Being chosen to host the Olympic Games,
the prosperous Edo will probably continue to transform gorgeously
into the "World's Tokyo".

Tokyo est une ville inondée de personnes et de voitures,
avec des métros et des chemins de fer qui circulent
dans toutes les directions.

梅花在嚴寒中開花。

Pine and bamboo remain lush green even in winter,
while plum blossoms in the harsh cold.
For this reason, pine, bamboo and plum have become auspicious symbols
which are an integral part of celebrations.
I created a celebration handkerchief
in the motifs of pine, bamboo and plum.

When I walked through the field,
different flowers and herbs were singing vividly.
I picked up those looked beautiful to me.
When I continued to collect them,
a wonderful bouquet was gradually created.
As I got carried away, moody feelings also began to disappear.
It is said that women particularly enjoy picking wildflowers
and will become happier just by doing this.

In China, dragon is perceived as the symbol of power
and an auspicious creature.
In Japan, the ceilings of Zen Buddhist temples are painted with dragons.
Many dragon drawings remain on the fusuma sliding doors too.
I wish everyone a fortunate Year of the Dragon.

我認為日本的家紋很有感覺，很酷。
它被冷凝並簡化了基序的地步，可以沒有任何更多。

The motifs are condensed and simplified to the point where no more can be done.
Beauty, strength, stylishness and a playful spirit are all present in this.
Each family crest is unique and assertive,
so I took only the atmosphere of the family crest,
and combine different simple geometric shapes to create this pattern.
