On a certain day of January, I went on a trip.
Aiming is Tochigi, Utsunomiya!

Walking around the city for the first time is a lot of fun, and the time goes by quickly.
Meanwhile, the yellow fish here was interesting!
This illustration is everywhere in the city, depicting "Kibuna", a local toy of Utsunomiya.
Once upon a time, it seems that it started to mimic the yellow fish (fun) that saved the people of the town from plague with a machelock.
A souvenir corner is a physical color to cure lucky things.
I wanted some paper mache too, but this time I chose Handkerchief and a pocket sweet rice cake. So cute.
In addition to town walking I was looking forward to this timeOya MuseumIt is a tour of.
You can visit the site of the underground mining site of Oya stone which is used for outer walls and stone storage.
It seems that a huge underground space where the baseball stadium enters is now being used for concerts and film shoots as well.
Together with the cold we felt like I was in another world.
It was a fun way to see a lot of Oya stone used in the streets to go to the museum.
After having enjoyed the museum a lot, I got delicious soba in Nikko, arrived home.

This is my first comment. I was surprised by a local article and wrote this, wondering why Utsunomiya. It's so close, so I've never been to Otani, but I've heard it's amazing because it's often used as a filming location for movies. I'd love to go to SOU・SOU in Kyoto if I get the chance.

Two arashiyama shrine nostalgic ~. You also went to the mining trails of Otani. I have been to a jazz concert once held here. The sound was very good.
Nikko has the same delicious water as Kyoto, so there is soba but there is also a sake brewery. After all, in summer I recommend the Shaved Ice ice of natural ice.
