"The Relationship Between Father and Daughter / Haruna Nishiyama"

If you ask me if I'm close to my father, I'd say no, and I feel like there's a good distance between us.

I suppose that's just how it is as adults, but when I hear stories about the close relationships between friends and colleagues, I can't help but feel a little envious.

I'm not good at talking on the phone, so I don't do it that often, but my father usually contacts me by phone.

He tells me all sorts of things, such as how I'm doing, whether he's going to the meeting hall today, whether he should send me some oysters, and whether he's going on a trip to Okinawa next time.

My father is not a very talkative person by nature, but he tends to talk more on the phone than in person.

Valentine's Day is coming up, so I'd like to give my father a gift.


This year I chose SOU Dresses Rice Crackers and Jurakudai. They seem to be good for my father who doesn't like sweet things.

I wonder if they'll notice, although the chances are slim...
