"Kintsugi / Fumi Naganuma"
"Kintsugi" is said to have been born with the popularity of the tea ceremony culture.
Tea ceremony is enjoyed as a hobby of those in power
When Tea Ceremony Utensils were symbols of wealth and power
It seems that he was able to make a gold joint that doubles as a decoration in order to cherish the tools.
Does "Kintsugi" also lead to tea? I am impressed.
The other day, I had the opportunity to have a teacher in the ceramic art class teach Kintsugi.
I rarely break the plate in my daily life
Where I was worried about breaking the pottery I have now,
I heard that my parents' house had a broken plate and a missing cup, and I received it.
It was a little funny to wrap the broken plate in cushioning material and carry it.
Differences in how to join between "chips" and "cracks"
The reason for Layering lacquer and what to do if you touch lacquer
Work silently while listening to the explanation from the teacher.
When I try to dry the lacquer, a gap is created
Originally it was planned to be finished in 2 weeks, but it took a week more to repaint.
It's also like an experiment, interesting and educational.
About "SOU・SOU Original Teacups 5 Pattern Set / MiscellaneousWas also missing partly,
The golden color shines nicely.
I didn't really think about it because it belongs to my family, but I've become attached to it three times.
In this way, overcoming the tragedy that old people also break,
I felt that I was able to connect the tools with great care and enjoyment.
I will use it as it is without returning it to my parents' house.

Hello Mr. Naganuma, nice to meet you (^. ^)
I also broke my only SOU・SOU novelty small plate (13th anniversary), so I had it repaired at a Kintsugi experience class. It was a short process using artificial lacquer, but it returned to its original shape and the gold streaks created a new pattern, so I'm even more attached to it now!
Chie-sama
Thank you very much for your comment.
We are very grateful that you are using the novelty small plate carefully.
It will be more fun if your hands are added and the scenery of the vessel changes!
Kintsugi, it's a taste ~ \ (^ o ^) /
Transition as something completely different and has a great flavor!
Don't throw away your precious things and use them carefully. Friendly to the environment and things.
Dear Y,
Thank you very much for your comment.
It was a good time to be able to concentrate on the work.
Next time, I will go to the lacquer shop so that I can do it on my own!
