"Making bean sprouts / Tomoe Horiuchi"
The other day, I have experienced making bean sprouts.
We pick leaves from Rural Woodland behind our pottery studio,
Just placing it on clay! It was a simple one,
The finish is different depending on the leaf vein,
Trouble wondering what kind of leaves it is, create this shape as if you can shape it!
1. Extend the circular clay in advance to a certain thickness.
It became slightly circular, but this is a handmade feeling with this!
2. I will arrange the picked leaves.
It is not ah, it is not too bad, it is trial and error, the end seems to have a feeling of conflict with the end already.
3. Extend with a stick to embed it in clay.
Although there are things that have been misaligned from the position we decided when stretching, or somewhere else.
4. Choose a flat bean dish or a deep soybean dish to shape it.
Because I wanted to put Japanese sweets, I chose a flat shape.
5. Turn over and leave a sign as you know.
I decided it upside down, but when turning over and checking again,
Oh, I thought that this one might be better.
6. Completion! ! Just wait for the baked goods to arrive!
I made something after a long absence and became crazy, but I managed to have a meaningful holiday.
I can hardly wait to receive from now just one bean dish in the world, what kind of design will be finished.
