Seikou kiln started its history as a painter of Kutani ware in the early Taisho era. Later, the company introduced screen-printing technology for the first time in the Kutani ware industry, which greatly changed the production method. The development and mixing of Japanese paints and the plate-making and printing of transfer paper are also done in-house, and despite the meticulous work process, Kutani-yaki is delivered to everyday people at affordable prices.
